The dinuclear coordination complex [Dy(tta)2(L1)(L2)]2·2(CH2Cl2) [tta = 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetonate, L1 and L2 = tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) ligands] shows significant ferromagnetic interactions between both DyIII ions. Owing to the two different TTF ligands, the molecule is a multiredox system. It also displays single-molecule magnetic behaviour with the Ising ground state MJ = ±15/2.
