In material and heritage studies, wavelength-tunable Raman microscopy is important for, among other things, its ability to study resonance effects and eliminate signal background. We present results for a Raman-based spectroscopy techniques as well as microreflectance and fluorescence from a high-throughput, compact, and relatively inexpensive Raman microscope based on an optical parametric oscillator tunable from 410 to 2200 nm.
