The properties of the Mo back contact in Cu(In,Ga)Se2-thin film solar cell grown on soda-lime glass strongly impact the performance of the devices. This figure plots the cell parameters for different Mo porosity to sodium; the efficiency varies by 3 abs.% only by changing this back contact property. This evolution can be explained through the combination of improving J0 and decreasing Rsh with increasing Cu(In,Ga)Se2 sodium content.
