MWNTs are proven to serve as passage ways for more efficient charge transport in TiO2 electrode of DSSC with the presence of optimum dispersion, which is made attainable by the plasma surface modification process and grafted-onto with maleic anhyride in this study. The MWNTs-MA was chemically and tightly bound with TiO2 nanoparticles by physical blending and successfully improve the solar conversion efficiency of DSSC by 50% when used as nanocomposite photoanode.
