In this study, solar cells were fabricated on n-type silicon purified via the mettalurgical route, and containing high amounts of boron and phosphorus. A maximum conversion efficiency of 15.0% is reported on cells from the bottom of the ingot with a resistivity of 0.4 ohm.cm. The fabricated solar cells are stable under illumination for the experimental light soaking conditions performed in this study.
