Hybrid nanostructures have been elaborated from elementary building units based on polymer-grafted platinum nanoparticles obtained from SI-ATRP. The polymer corona has been subsequently hydrolyzed and modified to bind an enzyme (glucose oxidase). The structure of the objects, the molecular weight and grafting density of the polymer chains as well as the grafting of the enzyme, were principally elucidated by small angle neutron scattering.
