A triazoloquinoxaline and 9,9-dialkylfluorene incorporated donor/acceptor-type copolymer PTQF has been synthesized and is utilized in bulk-heterojunction solar cells as donor material. Its electrochemical and photovoltaic properties revealed that the new triazoloquinoxaline unit could be a great candidate for low band-gap materials for organic photovoltaics.
