The dynamic polarizabilities of Li and Na atoms interacting with Debye potentials are investigated here using a symplectic algorithm within the framework of the pseudostate summation technique. By considering two-component plasmas near thermodynamic equilibrium, the dynamic polarizability can be presented as functions of the number density of plasma electrons for an arbitrary plasma temperature.
