The potential energy surfaces for the ground and excited states of ICN- and INC- are evaluated at the SO-MRCI-SD level of theory with triple zeta basis sets by Anne McCoy on page 366. The development of potential surfaces is of paramount importance for the understanding of the photoexcitation properties of these molecules and their relationship with the underlying electronic structure and dynamics of these systems.
