The results of the current study show that repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation over human motor cortex can modify tremor during movement in healthy adults. The results suggest that motor cortex contributes to the amplitude of action tremor but identification of the underlying mechanism requires further investigation. The results of the current study will aide development of therapeutic rTMS interventions for treatment of patients with pathological tremor.
