M5-HSV transfections of RMTg GABA neurons reduced morphine-induced locomotion in the wild-types and knockouts. Cholera-toxin B retrograde tracing from VTA identified RMTg GABA neurons, and caudal PT and LDT cholinergic neurons as inputs.
