B&B Daniel I.C. Wang Award
The B&B Daniel I.C. Wang Award was initiated in 2008 to honor a younger member of our dynamic community and is presented annually at the National ACS Meeting at a session of the BIOT.
Published in Biotechnology and Bioengineering in the last 3 years
35 years old or younger (as of December 31, 2015), or under 8 years from granting of the Ph.D. degree
Has shown a sustained commitment to the Journal and the community it serves
The nomination package should include two nomination letters explaining how the candidate meets the above criteria, a CV of the candidate and a separate page listing the following information:
Name of Nominee
Date of Birth
Year Ph.D. Granted
List of Eligible Publications
Nominations must be submitted electronically (including a PDF of the signed nomination letter) to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 30, 2015. Nomination packages remain active for two years, providing all eligibility requirements are met.
The winner will receive the award, which consists of a plaque and an honorarium of $3,000, before the Gaden Award lecture. The awardee will also be honored at a dinner hosted by John Wiley and Sons, Inc.
