The editors of Medicinal Research Reviews are pleased to present this virtual issue on the 2013 International Workshop on Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in Beijing, China. This virtual issue collates eight review articles published in Medicinal Research Reviews over the past few years from world-renowned authors on topics such as the development of brand new antitubercular molecules, the identification of novel drug targets, as well as the characterization of biosynthetic pathways in mycobacterial cell.
