New Zoo Biology Executive Editor

Jason WattersZoo Biology is pleased to annouce its new Executive Editor: Dr. Jason Watters, the Director of Animal Behavior Research in the Conservation Science Department at the Chicago Zoological Society, which manages Brookfield Zoo. After serving as a senior aquarist at a public aquarium, he received a Ph.D. in animal behavior at UC Davis, where he also undertook postdoctoral research in the Department of Environmental Science and Policy. He has studied many types of animals, from insects and fish to mammals, and has been published on many topics, including theoretical research in animal behavior. His research interests have focused on the causes and consequences of behavioral variation.
