EurJOC Lecture at ORCHEM 2014

EurJOC Lecture at ORCHEM 2014The 2014 EurJOC lecture was presented at ORCHEM in Weimar. ORCHEM is the biennial meeting of the Liebig-Vereinigung, the organic division of the GDCh, which is a member of ChemPubSoc Europe. Professor Helma Wennemers (ETH Zürich) was awarded the EurJOC lectureship for 2014, as selected by the Editorial Board of EurJOC in conjunction with the Editor. The lecture, titled ''Bioinspired Chemistry with Peptides'', focused on the use of peptides as asymmetric catalysts, an area of research that Professor Wennemers has made significant contributions to. This is the second time that a EurJOC lecture has been presented at ORCHEM, the previous awardee was Véronique Gouverneur (University of Oxford) in 2012.
