Special Issue:Earth System Evolution of the Pacific and Indian oceans and the South China Sea

In this Special Issue, 137 Earth Scientists were involved in preparing 46 papers which are grouped together under the general themes of: (1) Earths’ surface processes and geohazards; (2) basin dynamics of the East Asian Continental Margin; (3) evolution of the South China Sea, Okinawa Trough and Mariana Trough; (4 and 5) transform faults and subduction zones in the West Pacific Ocean; (6) Mid-Ocean ridges in the Indian Ocean and (7) global tectonic and geophysical processes.
