Virtual Issue on Nanotoxicology

Nanotoxicology addresses the toxicology of nanoscale particles which appear to have toxic effects that are unusual and not seen with larger particles of the same materials. In this collection of recent papers from the Journal of Applied Toxicology we focus on nanoparticles of silver, gold, titanium and carbon and their relevance in the field of medical applications, as well as their fundamental toxicity as they are extensively used in a variety of other technologies and consumer products.
