New Co-Executive Editor

NEW Editor

It is a pleasure to announce the appointment of Professor Yong-Ping Huang as Co-Executive Editor of Archives of Insect Biochemistry and Physiology, effective 1 April, 2011. Yong-Ping currently serves as Professor of Entomology, Head of the Research Center for Insect Sciences and Deputy Director of the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences. He has developed an impressive and extensive publication history.

Some of his most important research deals with a very high density genetic linkage map for silkworms (BMC Genomics) and identifying the proteins involved in silk gland apoptosis (J. Proteome Research). His work has been published in highly ranked journals, including Nature Biotechnology, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA and Journal of Proteome Research among others. His appointment will be a tremendous asset to AIBP.

Co-Executive Editors Yong-Ping Huang and David Stanley have set new goals for Archives of Insect Biochemistry and Physiology. Plans to incorporate new features into the journal, including front matter with news on important developments in insect science will work to increase recognition and more appropriately align the journal with major journals devoted to experimental insect science. Please submit your research and contribute to moving AIBP into a new era.
