The primary audience for Environmental Quality Management includes environmental managers, engineers, quality directors, and other environmental professionals. Articles should be informative and analytical, but not narrowly technical. We seek material that will keep our readers up to date on both legal and practical developments in environmental management of business organizations.

Awards and Recognition
Environmental Quality Management has won recognition from peers in the publishing industry with an APEX 2014 Award of Publishing Excellence in the category of Magazines, Journals & Tabloids - 'Green'.
The winning issue, Fall 2013, best demonstrates the breadth and depth of EQM’s coverage. It features a range of articles and case studies, which are now available online for free.
Author Bernard Kengni was also honored with a 2014 APEX award for his own writing in the category of Green Writing.
The APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is an annual competition for publishers, editors, writers and designers who create print, Web, electronic and social media. Communications Concepts, Inc. sponsors the APEX Awards, and advises professionals who write, edit and manage business communications, on best strategies and practices. Concepts publishes business communication reports, including Writer's Web Watch, an e-report for professional communicators, and special reports on topics such as corporate writing and Web publishing.
In the Twenty-sixth Annual APEX Awards, 2,075 entries were evaluated and awards were given in 122 individual categories, within 11 main categories including: newsletters; magazines, journals and tabloids; annual reports; print media; electronic media; social media; websites; campaigns, programs and plans; writing; design and illustration; and one-of-a-kind publications.
According to the APEX 2014 judges, “The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence.”
Environmental Quality Management also won recognition from peers in the publishing industry with an APEX 2012 Award of Publishing Excellence in the category of Magazines and Journals: Green.
