Hexagonal-prismatic Cu1.94S-ZnS, Cu1.94S-ZnS-Cu1.94S, and Cu1.94S-ZnS-Cu1.94S-ZnS-Cu1.94S nanostructures can be synthesized with screw-, dumbbell-, and sandwich-like forms. In their Communication on page 6365 ff., S.-H. Yu et al. show that the type of product can be controlled by the molar ratio of the CuI and [Zn(S2CNEt2)2] precursors in oleylamine.
