How to cite?
To make sure that references to this journal are correctly recorded and resolved (for example in CrossRef or ISI Web of Science), please use the following abbreviated title in any citations: "Ann. Phys. (Berlin)" (punctuation may vary according to the style of the citing journal).
Valid from June 1, 2010 Annalen der Physik will use the following citation form:
Ann. Phys. (Berlin) complete volume number (issue number), page(s) (year).
The previously used citation form for the articles of the 8th series (starting 1992 until June 2010) is still valid for these articles, e.g. Ann. Phys. (Berlin) 19, 5 (2010).
Please note that from June 2010 onwards these articles can also be cited in the new form, e.g. Ann. Phys. (Berlin) 522, 5 (2010).
Please make sure to always use Ann. Phys. (Berlin) as journal abbreviation; there are also other journals using Ann. Phys. as abbreviation, like Annals of Physics or Annales de Physique.
In citations of articles published before 2008, the journal abbreviation "Ann. Phys. (Leipzig)" should be used.
