Further increase of Impact Factors of Macromolecular Journals and their Sister Journals

The Macromolecular Journals and their sister journal Plasma Process. Polym. again have achieved very good ratings. The recently published 2006 ISI Impact Factors show three of the journals listed among the top 10 most cited journals publishing original results in polymer science:

Macromol. Rapid Commun. enjoys increases in Immediacy Index and Impact Factor (now 3.164) that clearly demonstrate MRC's position as one of the leading journals in the field of polymer science.

With an Impact Factor of 2.021 (ISI 2006) Macromol. Chem. Phys. confirms its position among the top journals in polymer science.

Macromol. Biosci. has received this year an excellent Impact Factor of 2.521 - thus the journal ranked 2nd among the biomaterials journals and is listed among the top 10 polymer journals.

Macromol. Mater. Eng. celebrates a further increase of the IF to 1.498 - the journal's highest value ever, for the first time placing MME in the TOP 20 list of journals publishing original results in polymer science.

Macromol. Theory Simul. enjoys a significantly increased Immediacy Index of 0.582, ranking the MTS #4 among all journals publishing original results in polymer science. The present IF of Macromol. Theory Simul. is 1.073.

Plasma Process. Polym. has again achieved an excellent impact factor of 2.298. It has asserted its position among the top journals in the fields of low temperature plasma science and polymer science.

Finally, our sister journals Advanced Materials and Advanced Functional Materials have achieved again excellent Impact Factors. Also small enjoys an excellent initial Impact Factor after two full years of publication. Please see the respective journal homepages for more details.
