Cover: The combination of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and “click” chemistry was found to be a very efficient and versatile method for preparing well-defined end-functional polymers. Polystyrene prepared by ATRP was first transformed into an azide-functional polymer, which was subsequently involved in 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions with various functional alkynes. In all cases, the chain-end transformation reactions were found to be quantitative. Further details can be found in the Communication by J.-F. Lutz,* H. G. Börner, and K. Weichenhan on page 514.
