Back Cover: The cover picture shows schematically the successful Curtius rearrangement of poly(4-vinylbenzoyl azide) (P4VBA), which could be thermally transformed into the corresponding isocyanate containing polymer. Reactions on the resulting polymer with various alcohols proceeded quantitatively, making P4VBA a powerful tool as a thermally activated reactive precursor polymer.
