Front Cover: The picture presents the energy-harvesting enzyme glucose oxidase (GOx) that is immobilized within the conducting polymer poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT). PEDOT is shown to be capable of transferring electrons directly from the FAD redox centre of GOx (shown as green). This discovery could result in development of new materials for biofuel cells.
