The inside cover shows a library of hierarchically patterned poly(dimethylsiloxane) surfaces, with a schematic view in the background. These materials are prepared by the ‘breath figure' technique, in work reported by Qiao and Connal on p. 3024, that utilizes a low glass transition temperature star polymer that can form ordered honeycomb materials and contour to nonflat TEM grids. These surfaces are also used as soft lithography masters to create the inverse pattern.
