The inside cover shows a representative optical microscopy image depicting composite microbubbles containing either micro/nanoparticles and/or living cells including stem cells. These microbubbles are formed using aerodynamically assisted jetting, as reported by Suwan Jayasinghe and co-workers on p. 4419. Complex multiencapsulated structural entities such as these are tremendously useful for tissue engineering and regenerative medical applications including advanced controlled and targeted therapeutics.
