The "Records and Challenges" platform of The Chemical Record describes both world records and future challenges in chemistry – the "Record of Records" offers an archived overview of continually updated world records in chemistry.
The porous aromatic framework PAF-24 was synthesized from lithium tetrakis(4-iodophenyl)borate and an alkyne monomer and reported to exhibit the highest iodine adsorption capacity for any porous material (2.76 g g−1). The following article was highlighted on ChemistryViews.
