The cover picture shows the novel structure of a single electrospun polyurethane fiber containing two distinct fluorescently labeled proteins, texas red-labeled bovine serum albumin (red) and alexafluor 488-labeled epidermal growth factor (green), as separated domains. This structure is fabricated using the combination of two techniques, electrospinning and encapsulation of bioactive compound using nanoparticles.
