Till von Graberg (Editor-in-Chief): Till von Graberg received his diploma from the University of Marburg, completing his research towards a diploma thesis jointly at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Potsdam-Golm. He obtained his PhD at the University of Gießen and joined Wiley in 2012.
Carolina Novo da Silva (Deputy Editor): Carolina Novo da Silva studied Chemistry at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Brazil) and received her PhD from the University of Melbourne (Australia). She joined Wiley in 2008.
Guangchen Xu (Deputy Editor): Guangchen Xu obtained his BSc and PhD (Hons) from the Beijing University of Technology. He spent a year at Michigan State University as a visiting scholar. Before joining the Wiley team in Beijing in 2011, he was an Assistant Professor at Beijing University of Technology.
Eliza-Beth Lerch (Managing Editor): Eliza-Beth Lerch received her SB from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her PhD at the University of California Berkeley. She worked at the Goethe Universität Frankfurt am Main before joining Wiley in 2010.
Jenna Flogeras (Editor): Jenna Flogeras obtained her BSc and MSc from the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton), Canada, where her research was in the area of inorganic chemistry. She joined Wiley in August 2016.
David Huesmann (Editor): David obtained his Diploma degree in biomedical chemistry and his Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz. He joined Wiley in 2015.
Lulu Ma (Editor): Lulu Ma earned her B.Eng. from Beijing University of Chemical Technology and her PhD in nanotechnology from Rice University. She joined Wiley in 2015.
Adrian Miller (Editor): Adrian Miller obtained a BSc (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh. He joined Wiley in 2008 and is also the Managing Editor of
Jolke Perelaer (Editor): Jolke studied chemistry at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands and obtained his PhD from the Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands) in 2009. He continued as a postdoc at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany, focused on printed electronics, micro-patterning techniques and nanotechnology. In 2016 he joined the Wiley-VCH Materials, Physics and Life Science team and currently he is a peer-review editor for a variety of (materials) journals.
Julia Ranzinger (Editor): Julia Ranzinger carried out her doctoral studies at the Max-Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart and received her PhD in Biology from the University of Heidelberg. She worked as a scientist at the University Hospital Heidelberg, Department of Nephrology, before joining Wiley in 2016.
Anna Troeger (Editor): Anna Troeger received her Diploma and PhD in physical chemistry from the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. She joined Wiley in 2013.
Jipei Yuan (Editor): Jipei Yuan obtained her PhD from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Before joining Wiley in 2015, she worked at TU Dresden and then the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as a postdoctoral researcher.
Peter Gregory (Consulting Editor): Peter Gregory completed his PhD at University College London and then worked at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. He joined Wiley in 1989 and is now the Editor-in-Chief of Advanced Materials and Publishing Director for Wiley's global materials and physics programs.
Melanie Rettenmaier (Administration): Melanie Rettenmaier finished her education at Freudenberg in Weinheim. In 2003, after working for a technical consulting company, she joined Wiley. Melanie is a member of the materials science administrative team.
Jorinde van Heers (Administration): Jorinde is the newest member of the team. In 2011 she left her native country Belgium for the UK to obtain a Master in Publishing at the Oxford Brookes University. This degree led her to take up a position as Junior Publications Officer at the International Labour Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2014 she moved to Berlin and has been with Wiley-VCH since April 2016. As Editorial assistant her main responsibility is supporting the editorial team with the pre-acceptance and post-acceptance of the submitted manuscripts.
Christine Herth (Production Manager): Christine Herth joined Wiley in 2008 and is now the Production Manager for Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, and Small.
Sonja Kwiatkowskyj (Marketing): Sonja Kwiatkowskyj qualified as Marketing Expert at the IHK Mannheim. She joined STM Journals Marketing Department of Wiley-VCH in 2006 and is now the Marketing Manager for Materials Science, Polymer, and Physics Journals.
