Author Guidelines

General Information
Authors and prospective authors should visit the WIREs website for up to date information on our guidelines, style, and author services.

Submit a Proposal
The journal content is managed strategically by our Executive Editorial Board under the guidance of the Editor-in-Chief, and we usually approach carefully selected authors with suggestions about suitable reviews they might like to write. But if you have an idea for a review article for WIREs Climate Change which fits with our scope, then we would like to hear from you. Please note: WIREs Climate Change publishes review content ONLY; proposals for articles based on primary research will not be considered.

To submit a proposal, please contact the Editorial Office at climatechange@wiley.com with the following information:
1. Suggested article theme and tentative title.
2. Abstract and/or brief outline of proposed article.
3. Specify which of the 14 Domains of the journal it most closely aligns with (list of Domains and Article Types). In particular we welcome suggestions for review articles which sit at the boundaries of different Domains and which can bring different disciplinary literatures together.
4. Specify which Article Type would be most appropriate for your topic (list of Domains and Article Types).

All suggestions will be forwarded to the Editor-in-Chief and the appropriate Executive Editor(s) for their consideration. If we proceed to invite you to write for the journal, you should note that all WIREs Climate Change articles are independently peer-reviewed after submission.
