Editorial Team

 
Stefan Hildebrandt (Editor-in-Chief)
Stefan Hildebrandt is Editor-in-Chief of the journals Advanced Quantum Technologies, Annalen der Physik, Solar RRL and the physica status solidi family. He has been with the physics and materials science group at Wiley-VCH in Berlin since 1999. Previously he studied and worked at the Universities of Halle (Germany) (Ph.D., 1988), Moscow and Cork (Ireland). He is a solid state physicist with main background in semiconductor and surface physics. His tasks include journal development, management of the peer-review editor team in Berlin, the organization of peer review and special issues as well as article acquisition for the journals.
Heike Höpcke (Editor)
Heike is responsible for coordinating the workflows between authors of accepted manuscripts, copy editors, typesetters, and printers for pss(b) and pss(RRL). This includes handling of the source Word and LaTeX files, checking the page proofs and proof corrections, as well as assembling the issues. For pss(a) she is responsible for all concerns related to issue compilation. Heike studied Mathematics and Physics at the Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany. She joined the pss team in 1996.
Richard Murray (Editor pss RRL, (a))
Richard Murray obtained his BSc. (Experimental Physics) and his Ph.D. (Physical Chemistry) at the National University of Ireland, Galway. From 2011 to 2015 he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at CIC biomaGUNE, Spain. In March 2017 he joined Wiley after completing a Marie Curie Postdoctral Fellowship in Berlin.
Anke Osterland (Editor)
Anke Osterland obtained her Diploma degree in chemical engineering from the Fachhochschule für Technik Mannheim. She joined Wiley in 2009.
Maria E. Stournara (Editor pss (a), pss (b))
Maria is a computational materials scientist, who received her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Brown University (USA) for her research in the field of Li-ion batteries. During her postdoctoral fellowship at the Theory Department of the Fritz-Haber-Institut (Berlin, Germany) she worked on atomic-scale surface science phenomena in semiconductors. Maria joined Wiley in 2017.
Huan Wang (Editor pss RRL, (b))
Huan studied physics at the University of Technology of Troyes (France) and obtained a Ph.D. for her research in the field of optics and nanotechnologies in February 2014. During her postdoctoral research she worked on topological insulator and plasmons at the Tsinghua University (China). In March 2017 she joined Wiley as a peer-review editor for physica status solidi.
Marc Zastrow (Editor pss (a))
Marc obtained his diploma degree and his PhD in chemistry from the Technical University Berlin. He initially joined Wiley in 2013 as editor for ChemInform. Since October 2016 he is part of the Wiley-VCH Materials, Physics and Life science peer-review team. He is based in the Berlin office.
Ursula Damm (Administration)
After studying at Heidelberg University, Ursula Damm worked for various publishers before joining Wiley in 2007. She is now a member of the MPL administrative team.
Dietmar Reichelt (Web Editor)
Dietmar takes care of the homepages at Wiley Online Library of the physica status solidi's Journals, as well as all other journals from the department Physics and Materials Science.
Dietmar studied information technology at the Technical University Dresden.
