Fabrication and Magnetic Properties of FePt3 Nanowire Arrays
The cover picture of this issue shows a TEM micrograph of self-assembled, nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide membranes which were used as templates for the electrodeposition of FePt3 magnetic nanowire arrays with a radius of 50 nm and a high aspect ratio above 100.In the further experiments reported in the Editor's Choice paper by Fashen Li and Liyuan Ren  from Lanzhou University, P.R. China, the magnetic anisotropy, coercivity, and the magnetization reversal mechanism of the nanowire arrays were investigated.
