Guido W. Fuchs, Ph.D. (Editor-in-Chief)

Guido Fuchs studied physics at the University of Cape Town (RSA) and the University of Cologne (Germany), where he received a Ph.D. for his research on 'Carbon chain molecules, their production and spectroscopic detection' in 2003. He worked in the group of Prof. P. Thaddeus at Harvard University, as a Humboldt research fellow at the University of California at Berkeley, and as a Post-Doc in the Sackler Laboratory at the Leiden University (The Netherlands). Guido's research activities encompassed laser based spectroscopic experiments, astrophysical observations, far infrared spectroscopy on supersonic cluster jets, and laboratory astrophysical problems.
Guido joined the physica status solidi team in 2007 and became Editor of the Laser & Photonics Reviews in 2008.

Eva Rittweger, Ph.D. (Editor)

Eva studied physics at the University of Heidelberg and the University of California Berkeley. After her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for biophysical chemistry in Göttingen, she worked at the German cancer research center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg. She joined Wiley in 2011.

Regina Hagen (Project Editor)

Regina's main responsibilities are supporting the editor and managing the day-to-day business of publishing the journal. Further responsibilities include technical and workflow questions and database applications (Manuscript Central). She also coordinates the workflows between the authors, the typesetters and the printers. She is contact person for any kind of orders (reprints, issue copies, high-resolution PDF files), invoices, cover pictures, etc. She studied German and English language at Humboldt University Berlin and has been the Project Editor of Laser & Photonics Reviews since its launch in 2007.

Lars Herrmann (Project Editor)

Lars’ main tasks – besides general support of the Editor-in-Chief - include the administrative work that is incurred with manuscript submissions, reviewing procedures, and sending reminders to referees and authors. He also assists in the organization of special issues. Lars joined the team of Laser & Photonics Reviews in 2011.

Sonja Hoffmann (Marketing)

Sonja Hoffmann is the Marketing Manager for Physics, Maths, and Materials Science Journals. She qualified as a 'Marketing Expert' through an advanced training company. After an apprenticeship at Wiley-VCH, she worked as a Marketing Assistant and then a Marketing Executive for Books and Journals in the STM Division. She then moved to the Professional & Trade division and became a Marketing Manager before rejoining STM Journals Marketing.

Dietmar Reichelt (Web Editor)

Dietmar takes care of the homepages at Wiley Online Library of the Laser & Photonics Reviews as well as all other journals from the department Physics, Mathematics and Materials Science. In addition he is responsible for IT and network administration in the Berlin offices. Dietmar studied information technology at the Technical University Dresden and joined the LPR team in 2007.
