Virtual Issue | Gut Check: Microbiota, Diet, and Obesity

The gut and its microbes are integral to our health, as a growing body of literature has made clear. Recently these findings have been extended to gut microbiota’s effects on obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Studies published in Obesity have helped untangle the complex relationships that lead to dysbiosis-associated metabolic complications, shedding light on potential factors such as diet composition, antibiotics/probiotics, gut permeability, and inflammation. We invite you to read and share this free-access virtual issue of Obesity, featuring cutting-edge clinical and basic science articles selected by our editors.
