Paleoceanography

Paleoceanography of Paleozoic Midcontinental Seaways

Paleoceanography has emerged recently as a discrete subdiscipline within the earth sciences. This, to a large extent, is a direct consequence of the Deep Sea Drilling Project (DSDP) and the revolution in the earth sciences resulting from the development of the concept of plate tectonics.
