Journal of Psychological Issues in Organizational Culture Honored at 2013 APEX Award of Publishing Excellence
Journal of Psychological Issues in Organizational Culture,a quarterly peer-reviewed publication of the University of the Rockies, won recognition for publication excellence in the category of Magazine & Journal Design & Layout in the 2013 APEX Awards for Publishing Excellence.
The APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is an annual competition for publishers, editors, writers and designers who create print, Web, electronic and social media. Communications Concepts, Inc. sponsors the APEX Awards, and advises professionals who write, edit and manage business communications, on best strategies and practices. Concepts publishes business communication reports, including Writer's Web Watch, an e-report for professional communicators, and special reports on topics such as corporate writing and Web publishing.
In the Twenty-fifth Annual APEX Awards, awards were given in 138 individual categories, within 12 main categories including: newsletters; magazines and journals; magapapers and newspapers; annual reports; brochures, manuals and reports; electronic media; social media; websites; campaigns, programs and plans; writing; design and illustration; and one-of-a-kind publications.
According to the APEX 2013 judges, “The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence.”

APEX 2012, the 24th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence, is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and Web sites. This year over 3400 entries competed in 130 categories including newsletters, magazines and journals, electronic media, websites, One-of-a-Kind Publications and more.
