Author Guidelines


AIMS & SCOPE

World Psychiatry is the official journal of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA). It is published in three issues per year and is sent free of charge to psychiatrists whose names and addresses are provided by WPA member societies and sections.

World Psychiatry aims to disseminate information on truly significant clinical, service and research developments in the mental health field using a language that can be assimilated by the vast majority of mental health professionals worldwide.

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

Research Reports containing unpublished data are welcome for submission to the journal.

They should be subdivided into four sections:

Introduction
Methods
Results
Discussion

A short, unstructured abstract is required.

References should be numbered consecutively in the text and listed at the end according to the following style:

All submissions should be made by email to the Editor, Professor Mario Maj.

PROOFS

Page proofs will be sent to corresponding authors electronically. Proofs will be accompanied by a Copyright Transfer Agreement, signature of which is a condition of publication.
