In addition to considering direct submissions, ESC Heart Failure works together with European Journal of Heart Failure (EJHF) to enable rapid consideration of good quality research that is unable to be accepted for publication by EJHF. Authors may be offered the option of having their paper, along with any related peer reviews, automatically transferred for consideration by the Editors of ESC Heart Failure, when turned away for reasons of priority, rather than quality.
