Humboldt Research Award
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation has bestowed one of its coveted annual awards to Nazario Martín (Universidad Complutense de Madrid). These awards were established to promote academic cooperation between German scientists and researchers from abroad, and allow scientists to spend up to one year cooperating on a long-term research project at a host institution in Germany. Martín will be hosted by Rik Tykwinski at Universität Erlangen–Nürnberg.
Martín is a board member of ChemPlusChem and he will be among the top selection of the plenary lectures at the upcoming Reunión Bienal Real Sociedad Española De Química. Wiley–VCH is proud to sponsor three Poster Prizes at the event to be held in Santander (September 15–18). Other plenary speakers include Nobel Laureate Robert Grubbs (California Institute of Technology) and ChemPlusChem board member Alois Fürstner (Max–Planck–Institut für Kohlenforschung).
If you plan to attend the event in Santander please feel free to contact the Editorial Office and set up an appointment with Deputy Editor, Marisa Spiniello, who would be pleased to discuss any matters concerning the journal.
