Flexible supercapacitors: This inside cover image shows a visualization of branched MnO2 nanorods for use in supercapacitors from Won Bae Kim and colleagues at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology and Rudolf Holze at the Technische Universität Chemnitz. In their Communication on page 125, the authors demonstrate a simple and efficient growth procedure on a flexible, stainless-steel substrate at ambient temperature. A high capacitive performance was demonstrated for the next-generation of flexible supercapacitors.
