The American Geophysical Union
The American Geophysical Union is a not-for-profit, professional, scientific organization with more than 60,000 members representing over 148 countries. Established in 1919 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., AGU advances the Earth and space sciences through its scholarly publications, meetings and conferences, and outreach programs. The society's Fall Meeting, held annually in San Francisco, CA, is the world's largest gathering of Earth and space scientists.
