Steven Bograd - Editor in ChiefSteven Bograd is a research oceanographer at NOAA’s Southwest Fisheries Science Center in Monterey, California, and holds Research Associate positions at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the Institute of Marine Sciences, University of California-Santa Cruz. Steven obtained his PhD in physical oceanography from the University of British Columbia, and has been investigating the climate impacts on North Pacific marine ecosystems throughout his career.

Steven has been an associate editor at Fisheries Oceanography for several years. He is excited to take on the role of Editor-in-Chief, and will do his best to maintain the high standards that Dave Checkley set for the journal.
