Virtual Special Issue on Hepatitis Viruses

This Virtual Issue introduces one of the unique aspects of the journal which encompasses broad subject sections from bacteriology, virology and immunology. Articles below from the Virology section represent various studies in hepatitis viruses covered in the journal ranging from approaches for evaluation of viral infection to mechanisms of infection including potential impairment of host immune response. The January 2011 Issue (Vol. 55 No.1) also publishes the latest Review Article by Dr Tetsuro Suzuki on maturation of HCV structural proteins and of production of the viral infectious particles.
