Effective from 1 January 2017, Cancer Science does not accept work that is funded in any part by tobacco industry sources.

Word limit for Original Articles has increased!
Effective from 2016, the word limit for Original Articles has increased from 4,000 to 5,000 words.

Cancer Science Young Scientists Award for researchers in Asia
This award is dedicated to the development of young researchers from the Asia region in the area of cancer science and research. There are four awards in total. Two will be awarded to researchers in Asia region, and the other two will be awarded to Japanese researchers.

Cancer Science Young Scientists Award Conditions of Entry:

  • Only first/corresponding authors of articles published in Cancer Science in the specified period are eligible.

  • Open to all authors published in the Journal from the Asia region.

  • Authors must be at age 35 years or younger at the time of manuscript submission, and currently employed by an institution or university. Students from any institution or university are strongly encouraged to enter.

  • The following subject categories are covered: carcinogenesis, tumor biology and pathology, molecular biology and genetics, epidemiology and prevention, immunology and virology, experimental therapeutics and clinical medicine.
