Norman Kerr Memorial Lectures

Norman Kerr Memorial Lectures

The first Norman Kerr Memorial Lecture was delivered by Professor T. D. Crothers on the evening of Tuesday, October 10, 1905, in the Lecture Hall of the Royal Medical and Chirurgical Society's House, Hanover Square, W.The President, in introducing the lecturer, pointed out that the inauguration of the Norman Kerr Lecture marked the '' coming of age" of the Society, and formed a fitting memorial to the life-work of its founder. This unique occasion has not only formed a fitting memorial to the late Dr. Norman Kerr, but it has done much to quicken interest in the work to which he devoted his best powers. Dr. Crothers’ Norman Kerr Memorial Lecture will no doubt be but the first of a long series which shall do much to stimulate study and energize action for the attainment of the arrest of alcoholism.
