Virtual Issue - XXIV International Congress of Entomology 2012

Focus on Asia

Insect Molecular Biology publishes original research articles on the structure, function, mapping, organization, expression and evolution of insect (and related arthropod) genes and genomes. The journal has been dedicated to providing researchers with the opportunity to publish high quality original research on topics broadly related to insect molecular biology since 1992. In that time, Insect Molecular Biology has accepted papers from a huge range of countries, including many countries in Asia, and we welcome this truly international role. Since January 2011, for example, Insect Molecular Biology has accepted and published over 22 articles from Japan, China, Korea and India. This virtual issue contains a representative sample of these articles, which demonstrate the strength and scope of the research on insect molecular biology emanating from Asia.
