The BDA and Wiley Blackwell are delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Langley-Evans as the new editor of JHND. Simon, who is Professor of Human Nutrition at the University of Nottingham, takes over from Ailsa Brotherton from the beginning of January 2013. We hope all readers, reviewers and authors of the Journal will join us in welcoming Simon to the post and wishing him every success.

Effective January 2013 JHND will be published in an online-only format.
