A collection of reviews from JOR CORE 2009
Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) have for decades puzzled and challenged clinicians and researchers and continue to cause significant interference with patient´s wellbeing and quality of life. The papers in this virtual issue represent state-of-the-science knowledge related to pathophysiology, etiology, assessment and management of TMD pain together with recommendations for future research avenues.
