New Aims & Scope and Sections

JPMHN has revised its Aims & Scope and introduced a new section, Consumer and practitioner narratives. These changes ensure a clear focus of all contributions towards developing psychiatric and mental health nursing practice, education and research. They also highlight the growing importance of service user involvement and the views of experts and others in improving the lives of those affected by mental health problems.

The 2015 Eileen Skellern Lecture and the JPMHN Lifetime Achievement Award are now open for nominations, and will close at the end of July. Please see the Eileen Skellern website for more information.

Impact Factor-Ranked Psychiatric Nursing Journal

In the 2012 Journal Citation Reports, Journal of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing received an impact factor of 0.795, placing the journal 60th out of the 104 journals in the Nursing (Social Science) category.
