New Aims & Scope and Sections

JPMHN has revised its Aims & Scope and introduced a new section, Consumer and practitioner narratives. These changes ensure a clear focus of all contributions towards developing psychiatric and mental health nursing practice, education and research. They also highlight the growing importance of service user involvement and the views of experts and others in improving the lives of those affected by mental health problems.

New Associate Editor Appointed

We are delighted to announce that Professor Richard Gray has been appointed as Associate Editor of the Journal of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. Richard is currently the Assistant Executive Director of Research at the Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar. He will be joining the editorial team immediately.

In the 2013 Journal Citation Reports, Journal of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing received an impact factor of 0.978, placing the journal 46th out of the 104 journals in the Nursing (Social Science) category.
